Providence Health & Services Caregiver - Home Health Care Services in Chewelah, Washington
Providence is calling a Caregiver ( Home Health Care Services , Variable Shift, 0.6 FTE/24 hours per week) to Providence Dominicare in Chewelah, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Assist with personal care needs including walking, positioning, and transferring, bathing, body care, and dressing, toileting, eating, and other needs.
Maintain a healthy, clean, and safe environment according to standards including changing bed linens and making the bed, and laundry.
Prepare nourishing appetizing meals appropriate to client dietary preferences.
Follow and care for patient according to their customized care plan.
Transport client to medical appointments and shopping.
Never smoke in the client home in or near office.
Ask client permission for use of phone for DominiCare business only.
Do not conduct personal business in client home.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Experience in basic meal preparation and housekeeping.
Current automobile liability insurance.
Valid Washington State Drivers license and clear driving record.
